Slew Drives
Comer Industries supplies the entire slew, distribution and lifting system for over 60 tower crane models with load capacities from 1-160 tons. The complete transmission consists of planetary drives for winches with rotating housing, slew drives with pinion and other drives for all kinds of purposes, such as support, crane arm opening and auxiliary equipment.
The system is totally modular, adapting to each manufacturer's requirements. The slew drives have various options for satisfying all of the customer's needs: coupling to planetary drives with bevel gears, worm gears, hydraulic brake, multiple input shafts and flanges for direct coupling with hydraulic or electric motors.
Comer Industries can supply in-line or right angle solutions with shaft or rotating casing.
