Flexible Couplings

Flexible Couplings

David Brown has a range of flexible coupling solutions to meet our Customer’s requirements for integration into our gearboxes or to supply on a replacement basis. With years of experience in coupling solutions our engineers can guide you through the selection of your couplings.

Nylicon Gear Couplings - Nylicon Gear Couplings are available in three sizes and are ideal for small power drives with bore sizes up to 55mm diameter and a basic rated torque up to 463Nm.

Pin & Bush Couplings - Flexible Cone Ring couplings are also available with taper bushes (types 613 and 614) with bore sizes up to 125mm diameter, providing ease of assembly and dismantling together with flexibility to change shaft sizes by changing only the taper bushes.

Gear Couplings - A torsionally rigid, lubricated design that offers high torque capacity application versatility and where high torque loads exist or shaft diameters exceed 100mm the lowest initial cost. Available in 28 sizes and all featuring triple crowned teeth our gear couplings offer the highest torque ratings and the largest bore capacities in the industry.

Grid Couplings - A general purpose, lubricated design that combines the economy and the high torque capacity of a gear coupling, combined with the torsional flexibility of an elastomer coupling.
