Company Description
The Longmeadow Distribution Centre houses the commercial-, technical-, and Industrial Air filtration divisions.
At Longmeadow Distribution Centre all imported product and locally manufactured product is stored and then dispatched to the various end-users local and export.
Order processing is done by the Internal Sales division and Logistics/Warehousing handles the dispatch.
The Commercial division is responsible for the Donaldson Engine/Hydraulic range and their function includes:
• setting of sales targets
• development of OE business (assistance of Technical division)
• support local and export distribution networks
• ad-hoc sales functions
Industrial Air Filtration, Compressed Air filtration and Gas Turbine Filtration
The above mentioned divisions are also based in LMD and operate independently from the Engine/Hydraulic divisions. They have their own sales targets and have in-house engineers with a drawing office and are involved with key projects as well as servicing and sales for Industrial solutions. These divisions also contribute towards the Company turnover. The bag manufacturing facility based in Alrode is part of the Industrial Air Filtration division.

Today Donaldson South Africa employs a total of 479 staff nationally and has a well established network of 55 distributors in South Africa and Sub Saharan Africa.
