DUNCANMEC Rolon Systems was the first South African designed unit available on the market and today our new series of units are still carefully designed to match the latest overseas technology adapted to local conditions.
The Rolon System allows for a conventional truck chassis to be converted into a versatile, multifaceted vehicle wehere efficiency, versatility and profitability are exponentially increased. This is the ideal answer where loading and waiting times are critical factors and where bulk loads accumulate over periods of time at different locations.
With the Rolon System, ten to fifteen customers can be serviced per day, depending on the distance and commodity. Product variety is yet another advantage of the system, allowing for the same truck to transport different products by merely changing the type of container.
DESIGN FEATURES of the Rolon Systems
All units are designed from high tensile steel for durability. The unit can handle standard and non-standard, shorter than normal containers, below road level or on trailer heights above road level. The container hook incorporates a safety toggle to prevent container fall out. Hydraulic cylinders are fitted with load protector valves preventing load collapse in the event of a hydraulic system failure.
BASIC FUNCTION
Lifting, placing and positioning of containers in free standing areas, as well as tipping containers to a 50-degree angle for complete discharge of the load.
