Marine Oil Coolers

Marine Oil Coolers

We produce a variety of heat exchangers, water cooled manifolds, charge air coolers and oil coolers for use on marine engines.

Most Bowman marine products are fitted with bronze covers which are highly corrosion resistant and therefore suitable for use with sea water. Some of the smaller units are fitted with neoprene end covers which can fit directly into the sea water pipe work.

We manufacture a range of standard heat exchangers which can be used to marinise a variety of engines up to 1400 kW (1900HP). There are also a large number of engine specific heat exchangers and exhaust manifolds produced for a variety of Cummins, Ford, Perkins, British Leyland Rover, General Motors, Peugeot, Mercedes, VW, Mitsubishi, New Holland and Genesis engines.

Bowman also manufactures engine oil coolers suitable for all types of engines up to 1200kW (1600HP) and gearbox oil coolers suitable for all types of engines up to 1500 (2000HP). For larger engines please contact the sales department. The EC to PK range of shell and tube heat exchangers has been approved for marine use by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).

There are a standard range of charge air coolers suitable for engines up to 240kW (320HP) as well as some especially designed for Cummins, Ford and Perkins engines.

Bowman manufactures a range of hydraulic oil coolers suitable for use with deck machinery, bow thrusters, power steering etc.
