High Pressure Systems represents a unique company in a niche market. We have been in existence for over nine years with the majority of the products being successfully marketed for over 20 years in South Africa. We have a wide range of specialised equipment ranging from high pressure and dry cylinder compressors to boosting and air filtration systems from which we design and build complete high pressure solutions for a number of specialised applications.
Our product range enables us to provide solutions related to low, medium and high pressure applications regarding air, liquid and gas. Sourcing system components from Bauer Compressors, Haskel Boosters, Mehrer dry cylinder compressors, Stansted and Walker filters, HPS builds customised high pressure systems to customer's specific requirements. We offer the expertise, full service, repair, design, installation and back-up one should demand in this field.
High pressures are used in various food processes such as preservation, homogenization and oil extraction applications as well. It stands to reason that this air therefore needs to be 100% pure and totally oil-free; one drop of oil can, for instance, spoil thousands of litres of beer. For hospitals, fire fighters and divers, compressed air and oxygen are a life-line and the equipment used for filling has to comply with precise purity and pressure control specifications. Even the guidance systems used for targeting in infrared homing missiles is produced using extreme high purity, high pressure cryogenic air, of which a number of systems were imported, with partial manufacture and assembly carried out by High Pressure Systems.
