ELGI Equipments Limited pioneered the Engine Screw Air Compressor in India . Our expertise in the highly demanding water well drilling application in a variety of difficult strata have enabled us to tropicalise screw compressors to full load conditions.
The ELGI range of Engine Driven Mobile Air compressors (trolley mounted) are working successfully in applications such as road building, construction, mining, quarry, sand blasting and many more. They are designed to withstand extremes of temperature, dust, grims and tough operating conditions - from the deserts of Rajasthan to the sand of Saudi Arabia .

Elegant Air End,Energy-saving design:
The heart of the Screw Air Compressor is the Airend, engineered for optimum performance and economy in operation.The energy-saving asymmetrical screw type rotors, mounted on anti-friction bearings, rotate at conservative speeds, compressing pulsation-free air in between lobe –flute spaces. Oil is continuously injected for cooling, lubricating and sealing between rotor tips and casing. Since the rotors do not touch each other, there is virtually no wear and tear.
Reliable Prime Mover:
A choice of rugged diesel engines known for their performance and well accepted in the market. So you get dependable service and good resale value.
Low oil consumption:
Two stage air/oil separator effectively separates oil from air. Oil is fed back into the system. So you get economical operation.
Air delivery matched to demand:
The 0-100% stepless variable capacity control reduces fuel consumption and operating costs. End use air consumption controls the opening and closing of the inlet valve, thereby regulating inlet air suction, and matching engine speed to demand. So you save on fuel, and you pay only for the air you use.
Easy Manouverability:
ELGI compressors are mounted on rugged trolleys, designed to meet the exacting demands of the construction and mining industry. So you can maneuver them even in the toughest terrains in India and abroad.

ELGI's reliability proven design and economical spare parts keep your operating costs to the minimum.
