Who are we?
We are the South African branch of Industrial Automation and Controls Ltd of Newport South Wales. IAC-SA was established in South Africa in 2006 in order to obtain business for the group as well as supply local support to existing customers. IAC is an electrical systems integrator specialising in the application of variable speed drives and PLC systems to industry. Our engineers, both in South Africa, and in the UK, have had over 500 man years of experience in design and application of control systems in a variety of industries, including Metals, Paper, Plastics, Converting, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Materials Handling, Water, and Oil and Gas.
What do we do?
We provide solutions to industrial process machinery by applying electrical drives and automation systems. We engineer, design, manufacture, assemble, test, install, cable, commission and provide after sales service. With our wholly owned subsidiary Tiprow Controls we can manufacture and assemble most electrical panels in Benoni.

Metals Industries, paper and plastics machinery, mining machinery, lime and cement, food, beverage and packaging, chemical industries, water pumping, filtration, dosing and distribution, sewerage plant control pumping and dosing, cooling and ventilation, test rigs for automotive drives and gearboxes etc.

Pumps, fans, conveyors, vibrators, feeders, SAG and ball mills, continuous casting machines, roughing and plate mills, hot and cold rolling mills, aluminium foil mills and separators, annealing and pickle lines, galvanising and tinning lines, Coating and painting lines, grinding lines, coil prep lines, slitters and cut to length lines and other similar applications.
