IRP was established in 1985 and has grown into one of the largest local manufacturers of conveyor components and conveying systems for the food and beverage industries in South Africa. Our aim is to continually strive for world class quality by keeping abreast of new technology and innovation for the benefit of all our customers.
IRP has the latest in manufacturing facilities which includes a state of the art fully integrated CadCam System linked to a digitizing scanner, feeding several CNC controlled machines, including the largest vacuum bed router in its field. This facility gives our customers the benefit of highly accurate, timeous and cost effective components.
In addition, IRP produces and stocks a wide range of engineering plastic materials in rod, tube and sheet form including Nylons, Polyethylene, Acetal and Polypropylene, which can be supplied in semi-finished form or fully machined to customer specifications.
Strategic stock levels of conveyor components and chains are housed in IRP warehouses throughout South Africa, ensuring quick turn-around times for the customer base.
IRP has access to the largest range of injection moulded conveyor components in the Southern Hemisphere.
The extensive injection moulding division is backed by a dedicated in-house tool room capable of producing complex tooling to meet customers’ specific requirements whilst ensuring continued commitment to further development, utilizing injection moulding machines from 90 ton to 350 ton which enables us to mould parts from 20 g to 1.2 kg.
Our main focus is the bottling and packaging industries in which we lead the field.
All the injection moulding machines are computer controlled enabling us to produce consistently high quality products.
IRP has seven CNC production machines including the very latest 4th axis machine, and state of the art Edgecam programming, which allows IRP to produce accurate top quality machined parts at very competitive prices. IRP are leaders in bottle handling equipment and make change parts for a variety of industries.
