GE Fanuc PLCs
GE Fanuc PLCs allow total migration from the original General Electric Series Six PLC to the Series 90-30, Series 90-70 and finally to the Rx3i Rx7i Pacsystems. GE Fanuc programming software was formally known as Cimplicity but now uses the family name of Proficy Machine Edition as well as PE for the HMI. Intellution FIX32, iFix and i Historian were all converted to the GE Fanuc family of software named Proficy.

GE Fanuc PLC On-Site Repai
We offer “On Site” GE Fanuc PLC repair and troubleshooting of all models from GE Series Six to the current GE Fanuc Rx3i Pac System. Our programmers and field technicians travel with the necessary test equipment to not only evaluate your GE PLC system but also do field repairs on all modules and power supplies. If a module is damaged beyond repair they will provide a remanufactured or new module immediately. Regardless, our engineers won’t leave until your manufacturing facility is in production.
GE Fanuc PLC Training
Instructor Based GE Fanuc PLC Training - PDF Electric & Supply Company provides basic and advanced GE PLC training. All of our courses are held on your site or in our training center. Each course includes a complete training guide, individual GE PLC system and lab examples. Most courses range from 3 to 5 days. Custom courses are available upon request. Upon passing the final exam, a framed certificate of satisfactory completion will be provided to each participant. GE Fanuc PLC training system are available for sale at 50% off the suggested price, along with training materials for in house training.
GE Fanuc PLC Retrofit Upgrades
Series Six Upgrade Retrofit
The 30 year old GE Series Six System can be easily retrofitted or upgraded to the newest GE Fanuc Rx3i, Rx7i, Series 90-30 or Series 90-70 systems. Almost all GE Genius I/O can be disconnected from the General Electric Series 6 and reconnected to the new system. With some simple configuration changes the Genius I/O will then be mapped into the appropriate new tables. GE Series Six digital I/O and analog I/O can simply be replaced "module for module". The Series Six ladder logic program can be converted with our special utility software along with some tweaking for the analog code. We offer trade in credit for your old Series Six system towards the price of whatever new GE Fanuc PLC system you chose. Series 90-70 Upgrade Retrofit
The 15 year old GE Fanuc Series 90-70 System can be easily retrofitted or upgraded to the newest GE Fanuc Rx3i, Rx7i, or Series 90-30 systems. All GE Genius I/O can be simply disconnected from the General Electric Series 90-70 and reconnected to the new system. With some simple configuration changes the Genius I/O will then be mapped into the appropriate new tables. GE Series 90-70 digital I/O and analog I/O can simply be replaced module for module. The Series 90-70 ladder logic program can be converted with our special utility software along with very minor tweaking for specialty modules. Field Control Upgrade Retrofit
The 20 year GE Fanuc Field Control is a bit more challenging to upgrade as it's footprint inside the electrical cabinet becomes critical. The GE Versamax I/O lends itself very well to this conversion. It simply connects to the same Genius bus cable as did Field Control and requires similar cabinet space. The conversion will require some remapping of I/O but will have limited impact on programming code. We offer trade in credit for your old Field Control system towards th price of whatever new GE Fanuc PLC system you chose.
