Ragon Industries is a privately owned company that was started in 1997 with the goal to specialise in the manufacturing of valves for slurry applications and other high abrasive applications. At that stage we were only marketing our ball valves for high abrasion and high temperature. Soon we found that there was a great demand for a more compact valve to replace existing diaphragm valves in the mining industry. The need for proper control in a demanding market also put some pressure on clients to make use of a valve not designed for control in order to automate their plant processes.
