Compensating Cable
Compensating and extension cable is manufactured from alloy materials with similar characteristics to the Thermocouples themselves, thus helping to prevent a loss of mV transmission from the Thermocouple to the receiving instrument. These cable prove to be an economical method of extended the Thermocouple over long distances, and are available in a wide variety of constructions with insulation materials to suit the environment in which they are installed.
