General
Almatec is one of the world’s leading brands of pneumatic diaphragm pumps. The first pumps were delivered in 1984. The technology is based on decades of experience in the pump sector. Numerous trend-setting developments resulted and the product range diversified to provide solutions to a whole variety of problems.
Since the company was founded, it has produced and delivered over 100,000 pumps.
Models
Verderair offers with the Almatec-series two main ranges of pumps; for standard, and for specific applications.
Standard applications
Pumps for the ‘normal’ applications are extremely suited for pumping all kinds of chemicals, slurries, coatings, paints, solvents, acids, glues, resins and powders.
The pumps are available in several types of plastics (PP, PE, PTFE) but also in stainless steel. Capacities are up to 800 l/min.
Specific applications
- High pressure
The high-pressure diaphragm pumps have been specially developed for charging filter presses with chemical wastes and special sludge. With a driving pressure of max. 7 bar, the pumps of series AH build up a delivery pressure of 16 bar on account of the internal pressure boost.
- Semiconductor
The liquids handled in the semiconductor industry set different demands to the pumps. Especially for applications in the semiconductor industry Verderair offers the Futur-series. Pumps are available in materials like PTFE/UPPE and SS 316L.
