Surge protection for the power supply

Building and industrial installations throughout the world have different requirements for lightning and surge protection in the power supply units. High-capacity lightning arrester combinations of the protection levels type 1 + type 2 are the initial basis for the current supply.

Surge protection for measurement and control technology

Interfaces in the MCR area are far more sensitive to surge voltages than power supply systems. Arresters with combined protective circuits are therefore used for their protection. These are installed directly before the signal inputs to be protected. This prevents the risk of surge voltage coupling in along the conductor path between the arrester and the interface.

Surge protection for information technology
