East London Shipyard is a joint venture between two of South Africa's leading Ship Repair companies, Dorbyl Marine and Elgin, Brown & Hamer.
Our core business is Ship Repair, however, we have the facilities and qualified and dedicated personnel to carry out all forms of general engineering work, steel fabrication and repairs, machining, industrial blasting and coating. We also have three mobile hydraulic cranes that we hire out, a 30 ton and two 16 tons.
