Ecodis is a Belgium based company that specialises in the disinfection of water. Their latest invention is the "ecodis", a system which destroys bacteria and bio-film within process water pipes, sanitary installations, swimming pools, and other water installations without chemical injection. Working together with water distribution companies, Ecodis plays a major role in the prevention of Legionella both in industrial and public areas. The "ecodis" is unique in it's capability to not only destroy bacteria, but also to remove bio-film, which is an ideal breeding-ground, from within the system. On top of that the "ecodis" has a "secondary" disinfection capability which ensures that treated water will remain sterile for hours or even days.
