Enserve Engineering (Pty) LtdEnserve Engineering was formed in 1993 primarily to
recondition valves. Since then through growth, acquisitions and strategic
alliances Enserve has become a major supplier of both reconditioned valves and
new valves. Total Valve Management has now become a major activity of
Enserve through their Fugitive Emission Reduction program and related valve
management systems; these allow a scientific approach to valve maintenance. Valve Reconditioning - by professionals in well-equipped workshops returning the valve to the manufacturers specification.
- General reconditioning – Pressure relief, safety
valves, actuated valves, control valves, and manual valves of all types.
- Large Bore Valves – gate and check valves for water
transmission.
- Special Valves- special by control method, construction or liquid in transit requiring specialist rebuilding and safety
considerations.
- Service Exchange – Enserve maintains a large stock of
reconditioned valves allowing minimal downtime and cost saving.

Supply – Comprehensive stock is maintained of
- Industrial and Petroleum Valves (IPV)- Ball, Butterfly,
Knife gate and Check Valves
- Shaw Valves- for hazardous chemicals such as Chlorine, HCL and Ammonia.
- ARI – Globe, Relief, Safety Relief, Pressure Reducing
and Control Valves.
Total Valve Management - Where the advantages of a single valve contractor ensure that your process is understood and appropriate methodologies put in place to manage your valves.
- Fugitive Emission Reduction Program, valve tagging, data collection, data
storage, management reporting and on site and in-situ valve repair.
- Shutdown Valve Repair Service-
- Photographic valve survey.
- Packing, gasketting and bolting specs recorded
- Costing
- Removal and replacement of valves, either new or service exchange.
Pump Reconditioning – As required by the customer. Recently Completed Projects:
- Saldanha Steel – 1600 valves replaced or reconditioned,
made up of 250 control, 100 safety, 900 manual valves and 350 in-line
repairs.
- Typical Customers – Sapref, Engen, Natref, Sasol, Rand Water,
Iscor, Zincor, Dow Chemicals, Mondi and Sappi.
