Company Description

Genlux was formed in 1991, to take over the manufacturing and marketing of the Street, Industrial and Flood Lights, produced at that time by GEC Alsthom (South Africa), now renamed Alsthom Electrical Products (Pty) Limited, this range of products has been continued with the exception of the Hilite street light range. Since 1991 every product has been improved and a number of new products added , these include the Genstar A & B and Apollo street lights, the Olympia, Achilles and Athena flood lights and new aluminum bulk head for use with the energy saving PL lamp types.



SABS Reports

SABS 098 reports are available for the street lights and SABS photometric data is available for the flood and industrial lights.


Company Infrastructure

The Company's Head Office, manufacturing plant and show room are situated in Company Owned premises in Germiston (South Africa) where approximately fifty people are employed, in addition we have agents in the Eastern and Western Cape and Kwa Zulu Natal.
