Hamon South Africa has been established in South Africa since 1974 and is part of Hamon Thermal Brussels and international, a recognised thermal engineering designer & constructor of cooling systems & cooling towers.

As member of the Hamon group of companies, Hamon (SA) is able to offer its clients the engineering and financial structure and expertise of an international group, together with the latest products and technology availible from the Hamon group.

Hamon (SA) has two contracting divisions namely, Cooling Tower and Fire Engineering, whilst each division is a separate operation they both enjoy the services provided by the companies internal Administration, Design/Drawing Office and Workshop facilities.

Fire Engineering - established in 1993 the Fire Engineering Division has grown into one of South Africa's leading companies in the supply and installation of Fire Protection systems especially in the field of Special Hazards.

The company is listed by a number of authorities and organisations as an Approved Fire Contractor including - ESKOM, SASTECH (SASOL), the Automatic Sprinkler Inspection Bureau Pty Ltd and operates and works in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9000 series with specific reference to ISO 9001 - 1994 and recognises the principles of ISO 14000.

In addition to the normal Water Spray System ie, Sprinklers, High Velocity, Medium Velocity, Foam Systems and Aquamist, we also supply and install approved Gas Extinguishing Systems including, Wormald Fire Systems - INERGEN 150 and 200 bar.
