SPACE GASS is a general-purpose structural analysis and design program for 2D and 3D frames, trusses, grillages and beams. It comes with a full range of features that make it suitable for any job from small beams, trusses and portal frames to large high rise buildings, towers, cable structures and bridges.
In layman’s terms the program can be used to find the stresses in a structure and then automatically design that structure to a number of domestic or international design codes. SPACE GASS can analyse and design structures comprised of just about any material. It also includes a library of standard sections as well as a Shape Builder for creating non-standard and built-up sections.
The program is something of an industry standard in the South-East Asian region. When first developed in 1982 (by an Australian engineer) it was used predominantly by domestic engineering consultancies, but it is now becoming increasingly popular around the world. SPACE GASS is currently bein
