Toroidal transformers and autotransformers (mono-phase: 3-10.000VA and up to 30.000VA for three-phase transformers) represent the main product, Petra being the Romanian leader in manufacturing toroidal transformers with a network of more than 1000 customers all over the country. Other products are AC/AC and AC/CC power supplies up to 10A.

With 50 employees and a new headquarter of 1200 m2 fully equipped for the entire process of producing transformers (core execution, primary and secondary winding on winding machines and mounting hardware), the plans for the future include the acquisition of more technology and the increase of exports.

In July 2002 PETRA has implemented and certified The Quality Management System conforming to standard ISO 9001:2000 with TUV CERT Germany
