Established in 1969, Aveng Manufacturing Steeledale has become a leading manufacturer of wire and welded mesh products used in the construction, engineering, mining, security fencing and agricultural industries.
Our factories are situated in Johannesburg and Meyerton (Gauteng ) with support production and distribution facilities in Durban, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein. Aveng Manufacturing Steeledale Distribution centres can be found throughout South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.
Active export destinations include Ghana, Angola, Mozambique, sub-Saharan Africa, the Indian Ocean Inlands, Australia and South America, meeting specific individual standards.
Quality and safety are of high priority with Aveng Manufacturing Steeledale Mesh conforming to ISO 9001:2008, SANS 1024:2006 and to NOSA rated safety standards..
As a Business Unit of Aveng (Africa) Ltd, we satisfy the latest Black Economic Empowerment criteria and are officially recognised by the South African Mining and Preferential Procurement Forum. Aveng Manufacturing Steeledale is a verified BBBEE contributor.
Our strength has been our ability to innovate, which is why we are the leaders in mesh and wire manufacture in South Africa . We have also been supply partners to numerous high profile contracts in the past, namely : Eskom Power Stations, Lesotho Highlands Water Project, Mossgas, The Mozal Aluminium Smelters as well as 2010 World Cup stadium construction and freeway upgrades.
