CX1010: Modular DIN rail IPC for Windows XP Embedded or Windows CE

The CX1010 Embedded PC is the basic device of the CX family. With a 500 MHz Pentium® MMX-compatible processor it offers average CPU performance. The basic CPU module is only 57 mm wide and is optionally available with Windows CE or Windows XP Embedded.

The CX family includes several basic CPU modules with different processors for optimum adaptation to the respective control task. The basic CX1010 CPU module offers 256 MB of internal RAM, a 64 MB Compact Flash card, and an Ethernet interface. Further system, I/O or fieldbus interfaces from the CX family can be connected via the PC/104 interface, which is available on both sides.

Different power supply units enable direct connection to the Beckhoff I/O systems in IP 20 and IP 67. The I/O interfaces are available for Bus Terminals, EtherCAT Terminals, and Fieldbus Box modules. In combination with the TwinCAT automation software the CX1010 system becomes a high-performance PLC and motion controller that can be used with or without visualisation.
