SMT Scharf introduces new line of chairlifts

SMT Scharf has developed a new line of chairlifts for mining. The new design offers the operator significant advantages because he can perform maintenance work much easier and faster.-especially regarding the e-motor and helical gearbox. The gearbox is also mounted below the drive wheel and brake system thus preventing oil leakages onto the critical safety components of the drive system thus been the brakes as well as the drive wheel and rope. The first installation of a chairlift with the new design will be in October in South Africa.
