Compact Timer Relays Save up to 70% Space

Phoenix Contact has introduced a new product range of relays consisting of single function timer relays with 6.2 mm narrow casings. Compared with conventional timer relays, the narrow design of these relays allow for space savings of up to 70% in control cabinets.

The time settings can be made very precisely using the labeled knurled knob at the front. To protect against unintentional adjustments, the knurled knob is recessed into the casing and can be adjusted using a screwdriver. With time settings ranging from 0.1 to 5 seconds and four different functions, these relays can be customized according to the demands of the given application.

The timer relays are powered with 24 V DC and output signals are transmitted using a floating change-over contact. Equivalent potentials can be quickly connected using a plug-in bridge system available in the PLC relay product range from Phoenix Contact. The PLC-V8 adapter available as an accessory can be used to quickly and securely connect Varioface system cables.

The new compact timer relays can be used for various time control functions, thus eliminating the need for mini controllers in some situations. Since no programming is required, this saves both time and money.
