Ball Valves

A Ball Valve is a simple device used to control flow of fluid. It uses a sphere (ball) with a hole passing through the center. When the hole is positioned parallel to the direction of flow, the valve is open and fluid can freely pass through. When the hole is positioned perpendicular to the direction of flow, the valve is closed and no flow is permitted.
