Damper Systems

A damper system is a set of mechanical devices used to regulate physical characteristics in a system. For example, in a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system, the damper system is used to regulate the flow rate of air through the ducting system. In a mechanical system, dampers may be installed to limit the amount of vibration on individual components and translating through the system.
