Drives - DC Drive

Generally speaking, a drive is a piece of machinery used to control another piece of machinery, usually through a driveshaft. The term DC drive refers to the use of a DC motor for controlling the speed of the target equipment. The speed of the machinery is controlled by adjusting the voltage or current of the supplied DC power.
