Ruspet Exhausts successfully designed, manufactured, delivered and installed five high-degree residential exhaust systems for telecommunications company, Vodacom Tanzania.

“The challenge on this project was that the Vodacom offices are located in a residential area,” explains Ruspet founder and MD, Russell Cockburn. “It was thus very important that the generator exhausts and silencers meet a specific low-noise requirement. We needed to ensure that the exhaust system and muffler we developed would not exceed the low decibel level the client had specified.”

An acoustic plant room was built by Vodacom while Ruspet installed the exhaust system, which further minimised noise. Ruspet successfully delivered the required solution, satisfying the client’s specifications.

“We manufacture to clients’ specifications, which means we are able to tailor our solutions to specific size, shape or noise requirements.  We also have numerous specifications for different OEMs, from Caterpillar to Komatsu and Bell,” says Cockburn. “We believe the ability to create custom solutions for our clients is what sets us apart.”
