Fab Water Engineering was founded in February 1983. The main activity was the import of Caprari Pumps to South Africa. During the first years a large amount of knowledge was gained in the borehole, agriculture and mining water industry. Two years later the business expanded into domestic irrigation. Fab Water Engineering supplied Caprari Pumps to the borehole and agriculture market for a further seven years. Due to political circumstances in South Africa FWE and Caprari were forced to break ties.
