Voith Turbo (Pty) Ltd was incorporated in South Africa in 1981and is active in the following market segment; Road, Rail, Marine, Paper and General industry.
Voith also offers engineering services and equipment repair for all the technologies it supplies.

Operating Divisions and Products:

Industrial division
Hydrodynamic(fluid) couplings; vorecon drive systems; safety couplings; flexible and elastic couplings; industrial disc brakes; industrial thruster operated drum brakes and thusters; shaft mounted speed reducing gear boxes; keyless locking elements; conveyor belt motion monitors; cardan shafts; shaft laser alignment equipment; air compressors; air dryers; dewatering, sludge sewage and internal high-pressure gear pumps.

Rail Division
Maxima Locomotives; Scharfenberg Couplers: - Automatic and semi permanent. Hydrodynamic drive systems; final drive transmissions and cooling systems.

Road Division
Automatic transmissions and hydrodynamic retarders for buses and trucks, as well as PGS (Precision Gear Shifting).

Marine Division
Patented cycloidal, propulsion systems and rudders and ferries.

Voith Paper Division
Manufacture and supply equipment and machinery for the production of paper and board.
One third of the world’s paper and board is produced on Voith machines.
