Conval 7 is here!

Numerous new and improved features add yet more value to impressive calculation and optimization functionality.

Compared to the present Version 6.0 of CONVAL®, Version 7.0 introduces a host of new and improved features to add even greater value to the traditionally impressive calculation and optimization functionality.

Among other things, you can now also calculate control valves with a two-phase flow in the inlet with noise prediction and installed flow characteristics for boiling liquids and liquid/gas mixtures. The differential pressure transmitter calculation has been extended to embrace also the ASME PTC 6 nozzles and dynamic pressure probes, and is additionally supported by a manufacturer database.

Alongside numerous other new features as well as supplementary, updated standards and completely revised and enlarged databases, CONVAL® 7 also takes account of a variety of comments, criticisms and suggestions received from existing users, reflected for instance in the even more clearly structured user interface and extensive export functionality.

ATTENTION - IMPORTTANT INFOMATION:

• Customers in possession of a valid maintenance contract will receive the new version successively as it is released
• It is no longer possible to update from CONVAL® Version 3 (or older) to CONVAL® Version 7
• Support for CONVAL® Version 4 will terminate on March 31, 2006. From then on, you will no longer be able to update from CONVAL® Version 4
• Until December 31, 2005 you have a chance to purchase new licenses for CONVAL® 7 at CONVAL® 6 list prices
