3D Digitizer

3D scanning is a measurement and visualization process used to create computer models of real-world objects. 3D scanning is used in a wide range of applications, including reverse engineering and prototyping, video game development, and movie production. Scanning methods can be contact-based, such as in a coordinate measurement machine, or non-contact such as laser scanning techniques. 3D scanning equipment may be referred to as a 3D scanner or 3D digitizer.
