These lenses, available in fixed focus and zoom configurations, are designed to withstand high levels of radiation and extreme temperatures, making them essential optical components for cameras and sensors used to monitor reactor cores, hot cells, and waste storage facilities. The lenses use specially selected cerium oxide doped glass, enabling them to endure radiation doses of up to 100,000,000 rad and temperatures up to 55°C while maintaining good performance. They provide high image resolution and minimum geometric distortion from 400 to 750nm.
As market leader in this demanding area – Resolve Optics has over the last 25 years established a wide range of fixed focus and zoom non browning lens designs that can be quickly tailored to meet your exact needs.
To meet the higher resolution demands of CMOS sensors, Resolve Optics are developing a new range of High Definition (HD) radiation tolerant fixed focus lenses. At Vision 2026, a new 9mm f/2 radiation resistant HD lens (the Model 419) will be launched with more focal lengths to follow shortly.
