Harrogate. Famous for its architecture, spa, warm welcome, fasteners and adhesives. What? Oh yes! On April 26th the town will become the centre of fastening and adhesives excellence when the FAST & IASE Exhibitions take place there.

Why Harrogate? If you’re based anywhere between the parameters described by Rotherham, Hull, Newcastle upon Tyne and Preston you’ll already know the answer. Viz, how easy it is to get there compared to the NEC to visit a show. For example, according to Google maps, Newcastle to the NEC is 3.5hrs and 204 miles, whereas getting to Harrogate from the same start point is just 90 minutes and 80 miles. Likewise, Preston to the NEC is 2hrs and 116 miles whereas Harrogate is just 56 miles in a fraction more than an hour. Of course, potential visitors based in York already know it’s just a 20 minute journey to Harrogate, and companies in Leeds are only 15 miles away.

The reason the FAST & IASE shows are in the North next spring is to enable engineers and buyers to benefit from a dedicated fastening and assembly show right on their doorstep. It has been noted that visitors who come to Harrogate might want to visit shows in the Birmingham area but can ill-afford the time needed to travel so far. Now the cream of the UK’s fastening and adhesives suppliers will go to their audience in an important move for manufacturing industry in the North.

The Pavilions of Harrogate is an easily accessible out-of-town location providing easy access and plenty of free parking on site. Additionally a free bacon roll and brew on arrival is available for qualifying pre-registered visitors, courtesy of the Organisers.
