Tube connection system stainless range extended

Automation Supplies Ltd is a new company offering a range of exciting new engineered products from one source, based on the popular and increasing use of established modular parts and assemblies to achieve cost effective solutions.

The tube clamp system is a comprehensive range of round and square tube connecting clamps and joints for making small or large frames from steel, stainless steel and aluminium tube.

The system has been recently upgraded to include stainless steel tube fittings and connectors for the food, pharmaceutical and other clean industries and applications. One new stainless component is the two way connector clamp GN131. Already available in aluminium, this clamp now has been added to the stainless range and is available in stainless.

The clamping bores of the two-way connector clamps GN 131 are machined and designed for construction tubing GN 990 or DIN 2391, DIN 2395 and DIN 2462 respectively. The hexagon nuts DIN 985 are either zinc plated or in stainless steel to suit the screws. The clamping nuts of the connector clamps comprise a screw and a nut and, in the case of the hexagon screw and clamping levers, a spacer tube is added. They are available as screw sets GN 911.1 - GN 911.6 but they can also be supplied broken down into individual items.

Flexibility in manufacturing means that these clamps can be specially manufactured to custom bores. The standard tube diameters available are 12mm, 14mm, 16mm and 18mm. Tube clamping can be specified via the use of cap screws or adjusting handles in steel and stainless steel. This component can also be adapted to be used with the linear actuator system that forms part of the tube frame clamp system.
