Industrial Silencers

Ventx Limited

Ventx Industrial Silencers are designed to meet our customers' specific requirements. As Vent and In-Line silencers are seldom a catalogue selection, at Ventx we design each silencer to suit the customer requirements. Ventx will help with a positive silencing solution. The Ventx silencer design can provide a back pressure which can help when selecting a valve and this is why our silencer inlets are always designed and manufactured with reference to a design code.

Ventx Industrial Silencers manufacture only using good quality materials in the construction of our silencers, offering either Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel materials. All units are fabricated by an Experienced and Qualified workforce and all our Industrial Silencers are guaranteed for performance and build quality. Customer inspection is always welcome.

Ventx serves the needs of the Petro-Chem and Service Industries to manufacture a solution to Venting and Noise in pipe work.

Model Range

  • Industrial Silencer
  • Atmospheric Vent Discharge Silencer
  • Control Valve Silencer
  • Direct In-Line Silencer
  • Stream Ejector Silencer
  • Gas Ejector Silencer
  • Vent Silencer

We provide our customers with a cost effective and practical solution to their noise problem by offering a custom built silencer. Noise is a particularly difficult factor to predict and at the core of the Ventx design procedure is an advanced computer program. This specially created program allows us to see the noise level most likely to be created from the customer provided data. But it is not as simple as having a computer program. Interpretation of the data blended with experience help lead to providing a proven solution. A high standard of manufacture is required to make sure that our products meet the design criteria.

Finally there is our Customer Service. To us this is one of the fundamentals of our business. The customers’ requirements may vary as the project evolves and Ventx are always available to help with different silencing scenarios.

In-Line Silencers

  • Control Valve Silencers are designed to provide a pressure drop or back pressure and are primarily used in conjunction with a control valve. The attenuation is achieved with a combination of diffuser design and an absorptive section.
  • Direct In-Line Silencers are designed to produce as little pressure loss as possible, but achieve the required attenuation using only an absorptive section.
