Accumetrics was founded in 1991 with a single purpose– to become the global technological leader in rotor telemetry. Since then the company has developed a new approach to acquiring data from rotating structures based on aerospace digital techniques. Accumetrics has built the world’s largest rotor telemetry system, with more than 600 channels, to help General Electric take its gas turbine technology into the twenty-first century. Accumetrics RF SlipRing product is being used by turbomachinery manufacturers to evaluate blade vibration and thermal performance. Other Accumetrics products have been mounted on automotive drive shafts and half shafts to survive the rigors of on-road testing. Additional products in aerospace, power systems, and industrial drive applications are being used for long term and continuous monitoring of operating machinery.
