ITALICA, near Bologna based, in the years is specialized on design, develop and manufacture of -high-production Blade granulating machines for plastics deep sizing, made in Italy-.
Granulators are applied for automatic volume reduction of plastics to small grains (1 cm only).
The aim is to recycle plastics with environmental, energy & cost-saving, and end-life goods, scraps, just-produced plastics re-conversion in the line process whether found defective.
The ITALICA patent is on the design of the mill blade-rotor: some “star” cutting sections on the shaft are settable in helical, forward/reverse-wedge shapes by the User, according to parts design.
It is possible then to process any kind and shape, hollow & solid: vegetable/fruit box, bottle, tank, bulk, water/gas pipe, extruded profile, flash, scrap, etc., by keeping the efficiency/productivity at the top: 2500 kgs/hr for Ciclope 800, 3300 kgs/hr for Ciclope 1000 and more, depending on plastics features.
