Company Description

The Metalock International Association, representing the metalock repair process - worldwide engineering services since 1953. Metalock is the name of the repair process for repairing cracked and fractured cast iron. The repair process does not use heat, and therefore keeps the integrity of the base metal. Often repairs can be performed in situ, with little or no dismantling.  The repair can be completed in days, ensuring minimum production downtime.

The Association represents 70 member countries. Providing specialist technical support; training, tools and materials, research and promotes the Metalcok process worldwide.

The Metalock process is particularly suited to situations where equipment that cannot be easily dismantled, or there is a hazardous environment, or replacing the broken item is difficult. The marine and oil industries, in particular use the Metalock process throughout. Mining, foundries, power, minerals, petrochemical, process, steel, and pressing use Metalock.
