Tests show the video sensing systems to be over 98% accurate at detecting and counting people. Data is transferred to a central computer via wireless, Ethernet or serial networks.
Their systems can measure footfall, monitor queues, show the path people take around a building or site and count occupancy. The intelligent people counters connect to CCTV cameras and detect people passing underneath. Counts can be ground truthed simply by watching the video.
