I can improve on the definition for 'Diamond Core Drill Bits': Diamond core drill bits are rotary bits that are specifically designed to drill through rock or metal. Diamond core drill bits differ from other drill bits because they consist of a steel casing that has diamonds embedded on the cutting edge of the bit. Diamonds are one of the hardest substances known to man, and they work very well to cut through harder materials that would destroy a metal-only drill bit.
