Your comments, feedback and suggestions: I can improve on the definition for 'CNC Turning': CNC Turning, or computer numerical turning, is a method used to cut and shape metal, wood, and a variety of other materials using a lathe and a special computer application using the CNC machine language, G-code, that controls all aspects of manufacturing such as speed, location, coordination, positioning, and velocity. This software controls the cutting tool that runs parallel to the quickly rotating surface of the material being shaped or cut.
