ATC Semitec temperature sensors come in all shapes and sizes. From simple plastic encapsulations for air-sensing applications to sophisticated leaf-spring designs, offering precision control of surface temperatures upto 250°C. Fast response temperature probes utilising exposed bead NTC thermistors or thin wall tubes, help control rapidly changing temperatures in air or fluids upto 200ºC.
Single-insulated AT-11 and double-insulated TPE encapsulated temperature probes using 0.5% tolerance NTCs ensure accurate control to +/-0.15K. These temperature sensors are waterproof to IP68 and are available with/without terminals to suit your application needs. We also supply brass, copper or stainless steel housings (with or without fixings) to give robust sensors that can be used in numerous environmental conditions.
One of our latest innovations, the NC (Non-Contact) temperature sensor utilises the latest FT thermistor technology to sense infrared energy enabling accurate non-contact temperature control. The NC temperature sensor's high signal strength means it is relatively simple to incorporate into control circuitry compared with other non-contact temperature-sensing technology.
In infrared sensing applications where a very fast response to temperature change is required, we manufacture thermopile sensors which have a thermal response measured in milliseconds (e.g. for our 10TP series the time constant is around 15ms).
