We design and manufacture special purpose machinery and bespoke machinery for industrial automation. We have produced many custom machines for factory automation, efficiency improvement and improved manufacturing lead times.

Using software such as Solidworks Premium, we are able to design, model, test and demonstrate the machinery within the CAD system without incurring the cost of manufacturing. This, combined with a clear design process that involves the customer all the way through, ensures that the finished machine is delivered as required.

Engineering Efficiency started in 1999 as a bespoke machinery manufacturer of structural polycarbonate cutting machines. This developed into a wider range of industrial automation and motion control products, servicing the conservatory roof, PVCu, and double glazing industries.

With our knowledge in these areas we expanded into CNC and PLC driven machinery, encompassing electric, servo hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems. Scale of the project is not a problem, from small, simple fabrications through to fully automated multi axis machinery.


Operating from 17000 sq ft of purpose built facilities, we can accommodate a variety of projects from the small, to large line side installation developments.  We use a combination of inhouse welding and machining operations along with a strong local network of specialist engineering service firms in order to offer wide range of engineering capabilities.

Our designs are created through Solidworks Premium, enabling designs to be modelled, tested using Finite Element Analysis simulation, and rendered in lifelike presentations.

All installations are prepared in line with detailed method statements and risk assessments and all of our staff operate to high standard of customer service and safety.
