Midwest Motion Products designs and manufactures standard and custom Motion Control equipment, including brushed and brushless gearmotors, motors with failsafe brakes, and servomotors with feedback devices such as analog Tachometers and encoders. The company also provides fully compatible brushless dc motors, servo amplifiers, unique servo drives accepting (velocity loop) encoder feedback, power supplies and multi-axis servo systems.
Midwest Motion Products provides quality solutions for Brushed and Brushless Gearmotor Applications, Battery Powered Gearmotors, AC or DC Powered Electric Linear Actuators, Servo Motors, from 10mm to 220mm diameter, Servo Amplifiers, Linear and PWM to 4.3 KW, low cost DC PM motors & DC gearmotors, custom Servo Motors with encoders, brakes, planetary gearheads, simple Motor Speed Controls including a unique Sealed / Potted, compact speed control, 12, 24 or 48V DC, 25 Amps Continuous, and 40 Amps Peak. Designed to meet IP 65 Standard for protection from Harsh Environments.
DC Motors - Midwest Motion's DC Gearmotor products include Brushed and Brushless DC Motors, DC Gearmotors, Low Cost PM DC Motors and DC Gearmotors, and Motors with options that include Integrally mounted Optical Encoders, Failsafe Brakes, Analog Tachometers, Low Backlash Planetary Gearing, and Custom options including special shaft and mounting configurations. Motor products range in size from 10 mm diameter to 220 mm diameter. Peak torques up to 1000 Nm, and motors up to one HP. Totally sealed designs that meet up to 'IP-67' standard are available.
Servo Amps - Midwest Motion offers a complete line of fully compatible Servo Amplifiers and Motor Speed Controls. Speed Control designs for 12 v, 24v and 48 VDC are totally sealed and "Potted" for harsh environments, and can deliver 25 Ampere of continuous output current. Our line of Brushed OR Brushless "Four Quadrant" PWM Servo Amplifiers begins at 200 Watts continuous up to 7.2 KW. Servo Amplifier designs are available in configurations that accept 20-80 VDC power, and operate off of a +/-10VDC analog command, starting with a compact and lightweight package that measures just 3.2" by 5.4" by 1" overall dimensions, and delivers 8A continuous and 15A Peak output current. Larger designs available with up to 7.2KW of power, and AC or DC input voltages up to 460 DC..
Electric Linear Actuators - Midwest Motion offers the highest quality electric linear actuators, featuring low noise design and enhanced corrosion resistance.
DC Power Supplies - Available as 320 Watt devices, these "OEM" type Power Supplies are available with 12v, 24v and 48VDC output voltages. All three designs accept a "Universal" AC Input, which ranges from 88 to 264 Volts AC, for operation anywhere in the world.
