DTI PiezoTech (www.DTI-piezotech.com) is a wholly owned division of Discovery Technology International, specializing in the design and manufacture of novel ultrasonic rotary piezomotors.
Rotary ultrasonic piezomotors
• Wide range of torques (e.g. from 2 mN.m up to 10 N.m)
• High resolution (e.g. 0.5 arcsec).
• Fast response time (e.g. 50 µs)
• Zero power consumption in hold position with max torque
• Can be made non-magnetic
• Scalability of design - from just under 1 m down to 8 mm in diameter.
• PWM or analog control
Ball and pinch piezovalves
• Can be used as both a “cut-off” and a “flow control” valve
• Fast closing, opening (e.g. 100 ms)
• Fast response time (e.g. 50 µs)
• 50 times more precise control
• Consumes no power in hold position
• Lower energy without sparking
• No overheating or burnout if jammed
