Spectroradiometers are instruments that scan different regions of the light spectrum, providing simultaneous representations of amplitude versus wavelength of the spectrum.
The CS-2000 is a polychromatortype spectroradiometer which can measure contrasts of 100,000:1 and features the world’s top level capability to detect extremely low luminance levels of 0.003 cd/m2.
The optical design and signal processing technologies of this instrument also provide accurate measurements of low to extremely low luminance and chromaticity measurements. Measurements are calculated in as little as 5 seconds, which eliminates mechanical and electrical noise factors.
The CS-2000 has a low polarization error of 2% which ensures more stable measurements of displays that use polarization, including LCDs. The selectable measuring angle feature enables the user to select the optimum angle of 1°, .2°, or .1° based on the application. With a temperature range from 5° to 35°C, this instrument reliable in any work environment.
Measurements can be taken after a warm-up time of only 30 seconds. The CS-2000 has three measurement settings, internal and external synchronization, and multi-integration mode. Synchronization can be done either internally with user inputs or externally via line input. Multi-integration mode reduces variations due to unsynchronized measurement or synchronized measurements of sources that have irregular light emission cycles.
The CS-2000 features a color LCD screen and simple operation panel, easy for even first time users.
The CS-2000A is a highly accurate spectroradiometer with the ability to measure ultra low luminances, as low as 0.0005 cd/m2, and contrast levels of 1,000,000:1. To achieve this, the instrument uses technology to reduce sensor signal noise, a measurement angle of 1°, and by maintaining less than 5nm half bandwidth.
CS-S10w Professional Data Management Software is included as a standard accessory, enabling highly accurate measurement visualization and management. Acceptance judgments based on the dominant wavelength can be completed with this software.
The CS-2000A features a measurement angle switching function which allows the user to select a specified measurement angle of 0.1°, 0.2°, or 1° depending upon the application. This enables a standard minimum measuring diameter of 0.5mm. A close-up lens (optional accessory) can be purchased to measure areas as small as 0.1mm. This enables the instrument to measure general displays and quick and stable luminosity and chromaticity measurements of ultra-small areas such as automotive or aircraft instrument panels and audio systems.
By attaching a diffuser adapter for illuminance measurement (optional accessory) enables the CS-2000A to accurately perform spectroscopic measurements of illuminance and chromaticity of irradiated light.
