Air Receivers

An air receiver is a component of air compression systems used to help regulate the impact of the compression process on the delivered air. The air receiver is essentially a tank which allows for the free expansion of the compressed air prior to it's release through the pressure valve and to the delivery system. The use of an air receiver helps to regulate the process by equalizing the pressure variation caused by on/off compression cycles.
