DC to DC Power Supply

A DC to DC power supply converts and distributes one direct current voltage level to another, or to a series of DC voltage levels. DC to DC converters can be linear, switched-mode, magnetic, capacitive, or electrochemical. Linear converters can only step-down the voltage from the input to the output, whereas the other methods can be used as step-down or step-up converters.
